An autumn day described in a short story as,
“sunny in the middle, and frosty around the edges.”
Sometimes it can be tricky to dress to the season's weather.
And that's why I came up with a series of posts that will help you with your wardrobe and your style for this fall season. In this series I will bring you the following:
So without any further ado, in the next few paragraphs I bring you the latest Fall trends.Style TipsStyle InspirationShopping SuggestionsFashion Digest
The 90's have made a mark this year. Both past SS and FW are influenced by long oversized pants, the sports like streetwear, big chunky sneakers, bucket caps, logo hoodies from the likes of Champion, FILA, etc... This trend was mostly present at Prada's show, but also at Versace's and Marni's. The 90's are for sure to stay and they are not going back to the past anytime soon.
Simply put Brown is the color of this season, if you haven't already shopped look out for brown clothes especially Jackets, Backpacks, Caps, and Shoes. Brown was present in Salvatore Ferragamo, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Hermes, LV and in a lot of other fashion shows. Orange and a lot of creamy/beige tones that are trendy this fall too. But I would add Blue and Green tones to the trendy color pallet.
From the FS there were a few notable patterns, Checks, Flannel, Pinstripes, Royal-like patterns and Vertical stripes. Curodry, plush, quilt and synthetic tech are the materials of the season.
Western and Cowboy inspired clothing graced us all over during Dsquared2's, Saint Laurent's shows but it was also present during Gucci's iconic Fall Winter 18 show. I'm way too excited about this trend. Shirts, boots, jackets, pants, hats with both big and small details are giving me a throwback to the old Cowboy movies.
Til' next time
These are the most notable Fall trends that I've seen on the runway. Granted these are also the most talk about.
Stay tuned for day two!
